Out with the old, in with the new. The cliche statement is being felt in the food industry. Restaurants and food manufacturers often re-evaluate food products that are selling and those that are not. This means what might be your favorite snack to order or purchase might not make a return in 2023.

Here’s a list of the favorite snacks or meals you will no longer be able to taste in the new year.
McDonald’s is once again getting rid of its McRib. The famous sandwich is known for disappearing and making a comeback. The sandwich came back in October of this year but won’t make it into 2023. McDonald’s says the sandwich will not be available for a while.

It’s accurate to say Burger King lost the chicken sandwich war. While many fast food restaurants keep their chicken sandwiches, Burger King is tossing theirs out after 15 months. The Ch’King, Spicy Ch’King, and Ch’King are being replaced with Burger King’s line of Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwiches.

Chili’s is erasing the Original Chicken Crispers off its menu. While many people went to social media demanding the meals return, the restaurant chain says it will not return due to low sales. However, Chrispy Chicken Crispers and Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers will remain on the menu.

Low sales are also why you won’t see Honest Tea on shelves anymore. Coca-Cola discontinued the product, and there are no plans to bring it back. However, the drink’s creator is now marketing Just Ice Tea, which is very similar. The only difference is Just Ice Tea is sweetened with organic agave syrup and honey.

Last is Klondike’s Choco Taco. The ice cream novelty might make a comeback. There are rumors the company is bringing it back as an ice cream truck exclusive.
