In this video, Patrick Bet-David delves into the global farming crisis, revealing shocking truths about the protests of farmers, the restrictive laws that hinder their work, and the potential for food shortages. It is a must-watch for anyone concerned about the future of our food supply.

Imagine if 100 percent of people from a particular industry stopped working one day. Which one would cause the greatest turmoil? Would it be lawyers, doctors, teachers, cops, military? Who would it be?

If farmers went on a strike today, within a few days you would feel their impact. And you know what’s been happening in America? The most recent data from the US Department of Agriculture indicates there were 200,000 fewer farms in 2022 than in 2007. That is a difference of just 15 years!

And on top of that, since 2023 at least 65 countries have reported protests organized by agricultural workers, with reasons ranging from minimum support price like in India, to unfair governmental policies like in Europe, to outright displacement or eviction of farmers as seen in Benin or Sudan in Africa.

So why should you care? Because there is three things we all need: food, water, shelter. Farming brings us one of them, so we’re going to talk about it today.

According to the UN Population Division, the world population is expected to grow by 2.3 billion by 2050 with almost all growth occurring in developing countries.

Urban areas will account for 70 percent of the world population by 2050. But what does that mean? You need arable land to feed all of those people.

Arable land keeps declining year after year after year: today, according to the World Bank, it is currently around 10.8 percent. That’s a problem, because feeding 9.1 billion people in 2050 will require a 70 percent increase in food production.
