One of the many inconveniences of the pandemic has been something that most people who own an iPhone have dealt with; the Face ID feature would not work if you’re wearing a mask.

That is about to change at the same time we’re getting away from wearing masks around the country. The next iPhone software update will allow you to unlock your phone, even with a mask.

Look for the new update to come in early March.

There’s something else tucked away inside that software update that should excite a lot of Apple fanatics. The company is introducing Universal Control, which will allow users to use a single keypad and trackpad across multiple Macs and iPads.

If you want to peek further into the future and see what’s new with Apple, look for the release of a lower-cost iPhone and updated iPad in March.
