It’s almost gotten comical if you fly on an airplane. Outside of an airport or cabin of a plane, life seems pretty much normal until you enter the rare air of elevation, where flight attendants, pilots, gate agents, TSA officials, and anyone working at an airport would go bananas if a passenger’s facemask dipped a centimeter below their nose.

The CEOs of America’s 10 largest airlines have had enough – and they sent a letter to Joe Biden asking him to “sunset federal transportation travel restrictions – including the international pre-departure testing requirement and the federal mask mandate.”

In other words, show just a tiny bit of common sense.

The letter was signed by CEOs of; Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Atlas Air, Delta Airlines, FedEx Express, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines Holdings, and UPS Airlines.

Here’s more from the CEO’s letter.

“The persistent and steady decline of hospitalization and death rates are the most compelling indicators that our country is well protected against severe disease from COVID-19. Given that we have entered a different phase of dealing with this virus, we strongly support your view that ‘COVID-19 need no longer control our lives.’”

The CEOs also pointed to something else to try to get Biden’s attention; science.

“The science clearly supports lifting the mask mandate, as demonstrated by the recently released CDC framework indicating that 99 percent of the U.S. population no longer need to wear masks indoors.”
