Elon Musk is the epitome of never-ending change when it comes to Twitter.

Going as far as changing the icon design of the social media app has many some users praising, (and some users hating) on his comedic strategies. The iconic Twitter bird logo was changed on Monday to the “doge” of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency.

This comes as a huge win after Dogecoin rose as much as 31% – as high as 10.2 cents from around 7.7 cents after the change. Dogecoin also started to trend on Twitter the moment users began noticing the bird logo changed to a Shiba Inu.

The doge image (a Shiba Inu) was originally created in a similar fashion – created as a joke in 2013 to mock other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

At 3:44 p.m. in New York, Musk posted a photo of an exchange in which a Twitter user urged him to change the iconic bird logo to a doge. Musk tweeted in response: “As promised.”

Musk bought Twitter last fall in a $44 billion deal and is known to be a superfan of the Doge meme, promoting Dogecoin both on Twitter and during live appearances like “Saturday Night Live.”

Twitter has not responded to questions about the home button change, but Elon is making it apparent to users that one can own a multi-billion dollar company while having some fun at the same time.
