A 20-year-old Kansas Democrat, who admitted to circulating revenge porn in middle school, has been elected to the State Legislature, and now his own party is ready to begin the process of stripping him of his seat.

Aaron Coleman managed to win his primary back in August despite the admission to sending revenge porn and now is back in the spotlight again after sending a threatening tweet directed at Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly.

In the now since deleted tweet, Coleman said that Kelly would face an “extremely bloody” primary in two years and went on to say, “I’m not playing around, people will realize one day when I call a hit out on you it’s real.”

State Democrats are doing their best to distance themselves from Coleman before he is even sworn in. Democrat State House Minority Leader Tom Sawyer has indicated that House Democrats will file a complaint against the 20-year-old and work to gather votes in an effort to strip him of his seat.

In a statement to the New York Post, Sawyer said, “Kansas House Democrats will take every necessary step to ensure Coleman is not seated in the Legislature. With Republican cooperation, I believe we can resolve this issue and find a replacement who is competent, stable and principled to serve the 37th District.”

If you are wondering how Coleman even won the seat? He was the only candidate on the ballot in his Kansas City, Kan., district.
