Donald Trump leads the way for the GOP Nomination by a landslide at CPAC.
A straw poll conducted at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) shows Donald Trump as the leading candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
69% of voters said they prefer Trump, while 24% voted for Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis.
Former President Donald J. Trump clearly took the cake for the Republican nomination.
“He’s more popular than ever,” said Jim McLaughlin, a pollster for Trump who conducted the straw poll.
DeSantis and Don Jr. are the Back-Ups…
When asked about who they would prefer if Trump did not run for president, 65% of respondents said they preferred DeSantis, while 8% said they would support Donald Trump Jr.
In February, Trump won a straw poll at CPAC in Orlando, Florida, with 59% of the vote. DeSantis came in second in that poll with 28% of the vote, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo came in a distant 3rd with 2% of the vote.
In a July 2021 CPAC straw poll, Trump got the crown for the GOP’s nomination, receiving support from 70% of conference attendees, compared to 21% who chose DeSantis last year.
Trump will announce his 2024 campaign soon…
In an interview with New York Magazine last month, Trump said he was still deciding when he should announce a 2024 campaign.
DeSantis is also a contender for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.
Trump Wants to End “Liberal Indoctrination“
Trump also ridiculed what he described as the indoctrination of students by liberals intent on destroying traditional family values. The former president went on a tirade bashing America’s public school curriculum and its plans to indoctrinate children on matters regarding their sexual identities and preferences.
“ABOLISH THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION,” says Trump.

Trump received tremendous applause for his suggestion to “abolish the Department of Education.”

“We don’t need to audit the fed. WE NEED TO END THE FEDERAL RESERVE.”
Steve Bannon’s powerful speech at CPAC has left the mainstream media stunned with silence.
In his speech, the co-founder of Breitbart said, “The Federal Reserve has usurped its power and the power of the American people and our elective representatives.”
“WE WILL NOT COMPLY!”
“And NO, they do not have the consent of the governed.”
“We will not comply. We will not submit. And it must be ended!”

Bannon is the first close aide of former President Donald J. Trump to be convicted as a result of one of the investigations into January 6th.
