Country singer Morgan Wallen was arrested on charges of “reckless endangerment” after he threw a chair off the rooftop of a six-storey bar in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday.
A video recording of Wallen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof” confirmed to authorities that the chart-topping artist was the perpetrator, according to the arrest affidavit.
Eyewitnesses also told the police they “observed him pick up the chair and throw it over him, laughing afterward.” The chair crashed next to two police officers on Broadway, a popular street in downtown Nashville. Wallen was at “Chief’s,” the newly-opened bar of country singer Eric Church.
The affidavit further claimed that Wallen placed others “in imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury.”
