Jake Paul must be bored with boxing because he said he has a new far-fetched idea for a hobby; he’s going to hang up his boxing gloves to try to play in the NFL.

With a 5-0 record in celebrity boxing, I guess he would join Floyd Mayweather as fighters who retired with undefeated records?

Wait, not so fast, there’s a caveat.  Paul said he wouldn’t retire from boxing until he wins ten fights, which could take a week and a half if he continues to go in the ring against overmatched stiffs.

Here’s the official announcement from Paul’s Twitter account.

“Just ordered some cleats and gloves to start practicing routes for the NFL.”

What are his credentials for playing in the NFL? According to himself, he’s really fast. That’s what he told ESPN.

“I can run a 4.5 second 40-yard Dash. You don’t think the (Cleveland) Browns would draft me?”

For God’s sake, the Browns drafted Johnny Manziel in the first round; if there’s one team dumb enough to draft a YouTuber who’s never played football, it’s his hometown team.
