The ex-wife of former President Donald Trump has been found dead at the bottom of a staircase in her Manhattan home.

Paramedics responded to her home in New York’s Upper East Side after receiving a cardiac arrest call.

This comes one year after her ex-boyfriend, Rossano Rubicondi, 49, died from complications related to melanoma.

President Trump tweeted on his social media platform, saying,

“I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City. She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who lived a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest in Peace, Ivana!”

 

“Our mother was an incredible woman, a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and a caring mother and friend,” the Trump family said in a statement.

“Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion, and determination. She will be dearly missed by her mother, her 3 children, and 10 grandchildren,” the family said.

Ivana Trump, who grew up under Communist rule in Czechoslovakia, married Donald Trump in 1977.

After 15 years of marriage, the couple divorced in 1992.

Ivana received $14 million in their divorce settlement and keep their Connecticut mansion and Upper East Side apartment.

Ivana Trump’s Impressive Career

Ivana Trump became known for being Donald Trump’s right-hand woman who helped his company rise to success.

During her marriage to Donald Trump, Ivana took on major roles in The Trump Organization, working as a senior executive for 7 years. including executive vice president for interior design.

Ivana was the President of the Plaza Hotel in New York and became CEO and president of the Trump Castle Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

She went on to develop clothing lines, jewelry, and beauty products that have been sold through television shopping channels, such as the Home Shopping Network and QVC London.

In 1998, she purchased of 33% of Croatia’s second-largest daily newspaper, Slobodna Dalmacija.

Ivana herself has said, “Donald calls me his twin as a woman.”

Ivana Trump’s Dating History

In the summer of 1997, Trump began dating Italian aristocrat Count Roffredo Gaetani dell’Aquila d’Aragona Lovatelli.

The relationship continued until he passed away in 2005.

Ivana’s most recent relationship was with ex-husband, 49-year-old actor, Rossano Rubicondi.

After only 8 months of marriage, they got divorced.

The couple dated for 6 years before they married on April 12, 2008, at Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

Ivana said she had actually filed for separation three months prior and blamed the split on her and Rubicondi’s different preferences for the cities where they chose to live.

The female business mogul and Italian actor had an on-and-off relationship.

The pair appeared together on the Italian version of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2018, just 3 years before Rubiccondi passed away from complications related to melanoma.
