Actress Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against her ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, alleging sexual harassment and a subsequent smear campaign to damage her reputation. The complaint includes accusations of unwanted physical contact, inappropriate comments about her personal life and appearance, and efforts to undermine her through social media manipulations.

“The effects on Ms. Lively’s professional life were immediate and substantial,” the lawsuit says. “Given the ongoing nature of the campaign and the associated negative public sentiment, Ms. Lively did not believe she could proceed with public appearances or events without being forced to openly discuss what happened on set.

The legal proceedings have sparked widespread support for Lively from her friends, co-stars, and other celebrities, including Amber Heard, who criticized the use of social media for spreading misinformation.

Baldoni’s legal team has denied the allegations, describing them as “false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt.,” representing nothing more than “another desperate attempt to ‘fix’ her negative reputation.”

The Civil Rights Department is expected to investigate and may require mediation between the parties.

Additionally, the lawsuit has led to Baldoni being dropped by his management team.
