At least five people have been shot at a subway station in the Bronx borough of New York City.

Initial police reports did not disclose the degree of injuries or conditions of the victims. It occurred around 4:45 p.m. at the Mount Eden subway station in the West Bronx near Claremont Park.

Footage showed police officers and first responders arriving on the scene.

Sources told the New York Post that one victim was shot in the face, and another in the leg. Witnesses reported having heard over 10 gunshots.
