It’s probably safe to say Arnold Schwarzenegger terminated his good standing relationship with a whole bunch of his fans after he posted a defiant video to YouTube that called out people who aren’t wearing masks and washing their hands all day.

Here’s some of Arnie’s diatribe from a video discussion with Bianna Golodryga of CNN and retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman.

“There is a virus here — it kills people. And the only way we prevent it is get vaccinated, get masks, to do social distancing, washing your hands all the time, and not just to think about ‘well my freedom is being kind of disturbed here.’ No, screw your freedom.

”Because with freedom comes obligations and responsibilities. You cannot just say ‘I have the right to X, Y, and Z.’ When you affect other people then it gets serious.”

Okay.

Arnie is 74-years old now, and in the past had been known to be a little more positive about personal freedoms, but he’s all in on his Delta variant obsession, letting anyone who thinks wearing masks outdoors, or inside if you’ve been vaccinated or already had COVID means they are not a good American.

“Yeah you have the freedom to wear no mask. But you know something? You’re a schmuck for not wearing a mask.”

Was Arnie in character for this rant? Maybe a little, because he toned it down a little bit at the end.

“I don’t want to villainize anyone here, but I just want to tell everyone let’s work together. Let’s stop fighting because there is a virus and it’s better to be vaccinated and wear a mask.”
