NEWS FLASH: Anyone who doesn’t agree with the mainstream media’s narrative may be labeled a conspiracy theorist.

The media can lie over and over again, and never be held accountable, but if you dare say something slightly off the beaten path, you will now be labeled a “conspiracy theorist.”

Considering the fact that the majority of people do not trust the media, it’s only fair to question who the real conspiracy theorists are…

The United States ranks last in media trust among 92,000 news consumers surveyed in 46 countries, according to a report by Reuters. That’s worse than Poland, worse than the Philippines, worse than Peru. (Finland leads at 65%.)

According to a Gallup poll, 15% of Republicans trust the media whereas 69% of Democrats trust the media. 36% of independents trust the media.

What is a Conspiracy Theory?

According to Dictionary.com, a conspiracy theory is the idea that many important political events or economic and social trends are the products of deceptive plots that are largely unknown to the general public.

A conspiracy theory rejects the standard explanation for an event and instead credits a covert group or organization with carrying out a secret plot.

Here’s a thought, if the mainstream media actually told the truth, it wouldn’t be COVERT!

The media’s latest gimmick against anyone who disagrees with them and their narratives is to label them a “CONSPIRACY THEORIST.”

This is a SMEAR CAMPAIGN, a classic tactic by manipulators. It should be no surprise to anyone that the media is out to get anybody who is a threat to their agendas.

What is a Smear Campaign?

A smear campaign is an intentional, pre-meditated effort to undermine an individual’s or group’s reputation, credibility, and character.
In this particular instance, the mainstream media is calling anyone who doesn’t support their narrative a “conspiracy theorist.”

This isn’t the first time the media has used smear campaigns to undermine individuals, groups, or nations to destroy their reputation and credibility.

Media organizations often do this to politicians, political parties,  and anyone else who doesn’t support their narrative. It’s a very routine tactic. Essentially, it’s a form of defamation that they are able to “get away with.”

It’s important to remember who controls the media to understand why they are so threatened.

90% of the media in the United States is controlled by AT&T, CBS, Comcast, Disney, Newscorp and Viacom.
