After being unbanned from X by Elon Musk, Alex Jones participated in a two-hour long audio chat or “space” with the billionaire. Several other figures participated in the call, including Andrew Tate, Vivek Ramaswamy, General Michael Flynn, and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

The space was hosted by Mario Nawfal, a journalist who regularly organizes major X spaces as part of his program “The Roundtable Show.” A total of 11.5 million users tuned in for what was likely the biggest space held in Twitter/X history (and across other audio chat platforms such as Clubhouse).

Jones began by saying this was not about him but about standing up for free speech in principle, and commended Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson in particular for their courage on the issue.

Jones went on to tell the story of his deplatforming, where every social media platform, corporation, and banking institution banned him from their services during a swift two-week period.

Jones claimed that a certain public relations firm (he chose to not name names—but he may have been talking about BerlinRosen), which had done work for the United Nations and CIA operations, orchestrated the outrage cycle over his Sandy Hook comments years after he made them.

He claims they attacked him by taking past statements out of context and blowing them up, leading members of the media to incorrectly quote Jones and in some cases outright lie about what he said and told his followers to do. A deluge of articles followed from nearly every major media outlet attacking Jones on a weekly basis—Jones said he was like a “third world country they were about to invade.” He argued he served as the test case for the deplatforming and censoring of many individuals that Big Tech would carry out during the 2020 election and the COVID pandemic (11:45-13:00).

Other key points:

  • Jones praised Elon for going after AI and bots, saying we will soon have to confront the danger posed by “robots” taking humans’ identities for malicious purposes. (10:00-11:30)
  • Jones claimed white papers have been circulated at the “highest levels of the Pentagon” recently on how nuclear war is “survivable.” He argued the elite are trying to normalize the potential of a thermonuclear world war and that taking back control of our governments is of paramount importance for saving life on earth. (29:00-30:00)
  • Jones promoted Musk’s messaging about the importance of human fertility to stave off civilizational collapse. (37:3038:00)
  • Jones hit on the theory that Israel knew about the Hamas attacks in advance and allowed it to happen, bringing up the evidence of insider trading and The New York Times report on the leaked Hamas war plan document. Jones connected this to Biden’s financing of Iran. Jones made clear that he is not an enemy of Israel and feels deeply for the families who lost loved ones in the attack. (47:00-48:30)
  • Jones said the “deep state” ramped up their attack on him in 2018 when he said former Trump White House Deputy Assistant Fiona Hill, who was a board member at Soros’s Open Society Foundation and a top writer at the Globalist.com, was working alongside then-National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster to serve as a mole within the Trump administration on behalf of the deep state. (51:30-52:30)
  • Jones suggested that the new talking point about Trump’s likelihood to become a dictator means that the deep state is already planning to assassinate him before the election. But he added they may back off if there is a big enough uproar ahead of time. (52:00-53:30)
  • Musk repeatedly referred to public relations (PR) firms as “propaganda firms,” and asked Jones to name the PR firm that slandered him (Jones could not recall the name of it).
  • Vivek Ramaswamy at one point urinated with his microphone on, which became one of the space’s most viral moments.

Valuetainment founder and CEO Patrick Bet-David also briefly joined the space to commend Musk for buying Twitter and unbanning Jones, saying it is a victory for freedom of speech.

Elon was prompted to unban Jones after Tucker Carlson released an hour and a half long interview with the Infowars host. In the interview, Jones brought up the fact that he was still banned from X and claimed the real reason he was banned from Twitter was because he insulted CNN reporter Oliver Darcy and had nothing to do with his skepticism of the Sandy Hook shooting. Musk subsequently held a poll on whether he should reinstate Jones’ account, and ultimately went forward with it on Sunday.

Originally, Musk was adamant that he would not be reinstating Jones’ account due to Jones’ conspiracy theories regarding the Sandy Hook school shooting. In November 2022, Musk said, “My firstborn child died in my arms. I felt his last heartbeat. I have no mercy for anyone who would use the deaths of children for gain, politics or fame.”
