Travis Scott, the mega-rich Houston rapper, is a self-made man who can buy just about anything.

But he still dreams of cars even though he can’t quite put a finger a just how many he already owns.

On Tuesday, the latest issue of L’Officiel Hommes was published with Scott on its cover. And he remembers his family’s modes of transportation.

“We didn’t have the best car situation…” he told the magazine. “When I was about five or six my dad bought a Toyota 4Runner. He came to my granny’s house and was like, ‘Yo, I just got this!’ I remember thinking it was just the dopest—to me it really felt like a Benz.

“Maybe a year or so later my mom got a Jeep Cherokee, but it became our only car and it was pretty bad. It got to the point where the passenger door didn’t even open. … I’ve always looked at cars … with the ambition of someday getting really nice ones.”

Later,  he talked about what he may be looking for, specifically.

“There is this Lambo that looks like f—-ing Batman, but I’m not going to lie to you…it’s like $14 million.”

Scott recently was reported to have gifted a friend what appears to be a Maybach GLS 600 SUV, worth $160,000-$200,000.

That was reasonable. But the Lamborghini? Nah.

“Fourteen million dollars can be used in so many better ways,” Scott said. “That’s the interesting thing about what Elon (Musk) is doing, right? Perfecting design and innovation and selling it for 20 or 30 thousand—the price of what other people would call a ‘regular’ car.”

Scott looks for solutions, being, as he says, in a “position that I am in now where I want to push the needle to help regular civilians.”
