The name Greta is trending on Twitter, and after a few clicks, here’s why. The 19-year -old climate activist is beefing with the controversial influencer Andrew Tate. The influencer tweeted a picture of himself at a gas pump with a car. In the tweet, he tagged Greta Thunberg asking for her address so he could send a list of his car collection and their “enormous emissions. Thunberg then responded with the tweet insinuating he had “small” energy.

Tate’s sarcastic tweet is no shocker. The controversial influencer or “self-coach” has been criticized for his brand which his critics describe as misogynistic. Thunberg’s response should also come as no surprise. The young activist has battled against former President Trump and is known for her no-nonsense, blunt-speaking style. Tate was also recently allowed back on Twitter after being banned from most social media apps.
The beef has come from out of nowhere. There is no evidence online of the two exchanging heated words before Wednesday. Regardless of why fans of both Greta and Andrew flocked to the comments of the now-viral post. Many followers praised Greta for her quick comeback, while others cheered for Tate to say more.
