Days of the public educational system in America being fruitful and of tremendous valuable are long gone. For years, the public school system in the United States doesn’t even come close to the top 10 countries with the best education systems in the world.

According to a World Atlas report on the best education systems, the United States is ranked at number 22 – China, Singapore, Estonia, Japan and Estonia makes the top 5. That being said, parents today need to seriously consider enrolling their children in private schools instead of public schools.

Here are 10 reasons why private schools are the KEY ingredient to kids receiving the best education they can get in America.

  1. Parents are not as involved in public schools as they are in private schools – statistically speaking, children perform better in their overall educational experience when their parents stay together and are actively involved in school activities and functions.
  2. Classes are overcrowded – according to data, public schools are currently at 15 students per teacher while private schools’ range at about 12 students per teacher. This allows one’s child to be more attended to.
  3. Affordability – Before you say private schools are ‘too expensive,’ consider the fact that the average cost of tuition for private schools is $12,350 per year. The amount of tax dollars you pay to have your child in a public school per year is $12,650. Find some sort of secondary income to further assist in this.
  4. Public schools take much longer to adapt to the fast-paced changes in technology and innovation.
  5. School safety – this is not referencing the exceptions but the general rule.
  6. Woke curriculum and teachers are coming for your kids – Not only is the rise of curriculum attempting to implement divisive terminology, (Critical Race Theory) but there is also a clear battle occurring in the United States on teachers hypersexualizing children as young as pre-school.
  7. Great teachers are underpaid – the educational system is underpaying exceptionally qualified teachers. These teachers, therefore, transfer to private schools and universities for better pay while the unfit “educators” are in public English and health classrooms.
  8. Mental health – Rather than getting to know children as individuals with different potentials, teachers in public schools generally do not know how to handle kids who may have a different learning strategy than others. This is where parents having more involved in the schools because they are PAYING for it, comes in handy.
  9. What values are being instilled in your child.
  10. There is massive risk in sending your children to public schools and certain universities.

Friendly Reminder: Private schools are funded through donations, money raised and tuition. The public educational system is controlled by the government and Americans’ tax dollars. The choice is yours – but out of these two options, (homeschooling not included) I would say there is more value in enrolling your kids in a school you can trust is KEY and private schools may just be the way to go.
