Connor Sturgeon was the name of the gunman who killed five people and wounded at least either others in a shooting at the Old National Bank in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday.

The victims killed in the shooting have been identified as Joshua Barrick, 40; Thomas Elliott, 63; Juliana Farmer, 45; and James Tutt, 64.

The 25-year-old was a former bank employee and was said to have been live-streaming on Instagram at the time of the shooting, according to police officials.

“I will say this that the suspect was live streaming and unfortunately that’s tragic to know that that incident was out there and captured,” Louisville Metro Police Department Interim Chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel stated during a press conference on Monday.

The incident has since been removed from social media. However, new information has been released regarding Sturgeon’s social media activity in the past, revealing some interesting information.

According to recent reports, Sturgeon identified as he/him on his LinkedIn profile and had posted chilling messages on his Instagram profile hours before the shooting.

Sturgeon had also posted anti-Trump messages and pro-lockdown posts via Reddit, under his username, CSturg41.

According to a Broadcastify dispatcher, more than 30 minutes of dispatch audio reveals Sturgeon calling a friend before the attack and leaving a voicemail stating he had planned to “kill everyone at the bank” and that he was “suicidal.”

Sturgeon earned a master of science in finance in 2020 from the University of Alabama. His father, Todd, is notably a former boys basketball coach at the University of Indianapolis. He led the team from 1992 to 2007 in five NCAA tournament appearances.
