Rumors were circulating last week about former professional boxer Andrew Tate’s physical health. The news of Tate possibly having cancer circulated after CT scans were leaked, reporting that lung cancer was diagnosed.

Reports stated that Tate had lost over 10 kilograms of weight, which can easily be linked to illness. Rumors of Romania denying him access to proper medical care poses a huge problem – one that would hold them accountable should something happen to Tate as a result.

After Tate met with doctors in Dubai, his specialist confirmed there to be a legion in his right upper lung. He recently went under a contrast-enhanced CT scan on Dec. 12 and had some concerning features of the legion that required urgent investigation and tissue diagnosis – meaning he needed to undergo a biopsy.

According to a recent tweet posted by Sterling Cooper, “Those of us closer to Andrew knew he had lung cancer for a while. Consider this, 1. He took over the internet while fighting cancer – this should inspire you to reach your potential no matter what is in your way. 2. If Romania denies him medical treatment, it could kill him.”

We now know that the tumor has now been confirmed as benign, according to Sulaiman Ahmed, a close friend of Tate.

Tweet by Sulaiman Ahmed:

The businessman has been imprisoned in Romania for allegations of human trafficking. Official charges have yet to be made but legally speaking, Romania can keep someone imprisoned for up to 30 days at a time, with extension requests maximizing to three months. Tate and his brother have been imprisoned for over two months, now.
