Tucker Carlson continues breaking the internet with his short segments on Twitter garnering more views than he would have ever had on cable television.
In his new episode, posted yesterday afternoon, Carlson had some thoughts on Hunter Biden’s recent charges and plea deal. However, he wanted to make sure he explained the backstory leading up to where we are today.
To quickly recap, Carlson shared a short clip from an interview President Biden had with MSNBC on May 5. President Biden went on air to attempt and discredit anything the House Oversight Committee could have potentially found regarding his son’s bank records and business dealings.
“Your son – while there is no tie to you – could be charged by your department of justice,” the reporter said, setting up the President’s innocence immediately.
“First of all, my son has done nothing wrong – I trust him, I have faith in him, and it impacts my presidency by making me feel proud of him,” Biden responded.
He clearly gave no actual response and was ultimately wrong because five days later, the Oversight Committee released their findings, resulting in the Biden family’s “many business associates and companies” receiving over $10 million from foreign nationals and their related companies while Biden was serving as vice president and after he left public office.
“Racketeering, money laundering, wire fraud” – these are just some of the crimes Carlson reminds his audience of the Biden family having committed – aside from “selling out the United States for cash.”
“This morning, Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to pretty much nothing. Biden plead to two misdemeanor tax evasion charges then entered a diversion on a federal gun charge. That’s it.” He continued, “As far as Merrick Garland’s justice department, Hunter Biden is done.”
“It’s like it all never happened. In fact, the justice department just baptized Hunter Biden – a lifetime of sins washed away in an instant. It was a secular miracle.”
Interesting questions were raised in this episode; the question is, will those $10 million dollars from “foreign businesses” ever be addressed? What does Hunter Biden do for work that has made the Biden family filthy rich? Will Hunter Biden and President Biden ever actually face justice and be investigated? Time will tell.
