Former President Donald Trump has declared that he will not run for president in 2028 if he loses the 2024 election to Vice President Kamala Harris. Interviewed by Sharyl Attkisson on the ‘Full Measure’ program, Trump stated, ‘I think that will be it,’ citing his age as a factor, as he would be 82 in 2028.

This marks a significant departure from his usual stance, where he typically attributes potential losses to electoral fraud.

Trump also defended his administration’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and mentioned his efforts to maintain his health. Current polls show Harris slightly leading Trump, but the race remains tight with key battleground states to decide the outcome.
