Former President Donald Trump has reportedly raised more than $200 million in donations since his felony conviction last week, sources within his reelection campaign indicated on Sunday.

As Valuetainment previously reported, former President Trump was found guilty on Thursday of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up alleged hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. However, even as Trump faces a possible 136-year prison sentence, his popularity with his base seems to have surged to an all-time high. Just hours after the verdict was handed down, Trump campaign websites began crashing from increased traffic.

Within the first 24 hours, the campaign reported more than $34.8 million in donations, and the outpouring of donations showed little sign of slowing heading into the weekend.

According to son Eric Trump, whose wife, Lara Trump, is co-chair of the Republican National Committee, that number surged to over $200 million between Saturday and Sunday, carried by both mega-donors and small, first-time contributors.

“This might be a little inside information, but as I was leaving my house about 37 seconds ago, I asked my wife, what are we up to now?” the younger Trump said to Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday. “And [Lara] said, just in terms of small dollar, we’re well over $70 million. This is $21 donations, $43 donations, right, small dollar donations.”

“If you add the large dollar donations to it, you’re over $200 million,” he continued, stating that “30 percent of those people have never been seen before by a political party.”

According to Google Trends data, searches for “how to donate to Trump” spiked at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. While the campaign has not officially confirmed the latest fundraising numbers since Friday afternoon, the former president’s closest allies believe that his conviction will continue to draw more support to his cause.

“I mean, these are Americans who are pissed off,” Eric Trump continued. “They’re coming out of the woodwork and they want to support a guy that they just believe is getting bamboozled by a system.”

“We saw it with Impeachment one, we saw it with Impeachment two, we see it where they weaponize every liberal DA and AG across the country with one intent: To take him down, to slander him, to ruin his reputation, to try and divide his family, to try and bankrupt him, to throw him in jail, to do whatever the hell they can do,” he added.

“America sees through it. They know exactly what’s going on.”
