In this video, Patrick Bet-David explains the scariest and most frustrating type of opponent to compete with in the worlds of business, politics, or anywhere else.
The type of person that will drive the opposition crazy—what are the qualities this type of rival possesses?
Patrick was prompted to make this video by his amazement with former President Donald Trump’s stamina as displayed on Saturday night.
Trump had a speech to give in Georgia that evening, but somehow carved out time to come down to Miami afterward, watch the entire fight from beginning to end—taking pictures with people the whole time—before leaving around 3:00 in the morning.

Compare this to Joe Biden, Trump’s presumptive rival in the general election this fall. Opponents like Trump strike fear in the hearts of people like Biden. Former Press Secretary Jen Psaki once confirmed that Biden is in bed by 9:00 p.m. and does not wake up before 9:00 a.m.

Outworking your peers is important—but not enough. It’s also not enough to out-improve your peers in knowledge, people skills, mindset, or strategy, although that’s important too.
In Pat’s theory, the single most intimidating quality in an opponent is the ability to outlast.
Imagine you’re done at 8:00 p.m., and your opponent stays until 2:00 a.m. working hard. You think they’re going to burn out, but they don’t. They routinely show up and get the job done, and then some.
Not only that, but they have endurance: they can keep at it for weeks, months, years, while others get frustrated and throw in the towel. They may not be perfectionists, but they show up when the perfectionists give up.
This emotionally and spiritually defeats the enemy. The enemy then attempts to play the mental game of insinuating they are not bothered by this, and they look for ways you might fail.
Outlasting does not depend on college degrees, height, strength, wealth, background, or anything given. It comes purely from the determination within.
