The Government of Switzerland has revoked all vaccination recommendations—individuals can only receive the vaccine from a doctor and under certain conditions. Prescribing doctors will then bear the risk of legal responsibility for vaccine injury.
This about-face in governmental guidance is a blatant recognition that vaccination is not justified through objective scientific evaluation of benefit-risk ratios of COVID-19 shots. While Swiss physicians may prescribe vaccination under special circumstance, those doctors will now carry the liability in cases of vaccine damage. This decision is predicated in part on the prevalent natural immunity which has resulted in the Swiss population, a theory which was denied, time and again, by the US Government and much of the US mainstream media.
Those in high-risk groups such as people aged 65 and older are not advised to receive the COVID-19 vaccine either. According to Switzerland’s Federal Office of Public Health, compromised individuals must consult with their doctors for vaccine approval.
Clearly demonstrating a politicization of the issue in the United States, these Swiss policies are precisely opposite of those from the US Department of Health and Human Services. Unvaccinated Americans are still advised to receive a primary series, and the FDA is anticipated to formally authorize a second bivalent booster for spring in the near future.
