Biden’s comments went viral on social media.

The president did not clarify what he meant by his comments or what he did when he was 30 and the girl was a kid.

“You gotta say hi to me,” Biden said in the middle of his speech at the National Education Association headquarters in DC.

“We go back a long way. She was 12, I was 30. But anyway, this woman helped me get an awful lot done.”

The audience of teachers and union members laughed and smiled.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for clarification on what the president meant by his comments.

On “60 Minutes” this past Sunday, President Biden revealed it was “much too early” to declare his intentions to seek a second term.

It’s atypical for a president to be so hesitant about runnin for a second term, which further hints at the idea that he may not be the Democratic nominee.

“Look, my intention, as I said to begin with, is that I would run again,” said President Biden.

“But it’s just an intention. But is it a firm decision that I run again? That remains to be seen,” he said.
