Shane Gillis is under fire after his Saturday Night Live monologue, where he joked about the tight neon shorts women wear at the gym.
Hosting SNL for the third time, Gillis riffed on going back to the gym and what women are wearing now, a bit that drew groans from the audience and an immediate backlash online. Dan Levy, Phoebe Robinson and former SNL cast member Ego Nwodim all fired back. Gillis told the crowd “Sorry about earlier” at the curtain call and has declined to comment since. It’s the latest chapter for the comedian SNL fired in 2019 and then brought back to host three times.
