Valuetainment called it. 3 weeks ago, I predicted an RFK JR presidential run. Now, he’s officially filed and becomes the second candidate to throw his hat into the ring against Biden in the Democratic presidential primary.

The son of Robert Kennedy, RFK JR. has been a progressive-leaning vaccine skeptic. He creates an interesting niche in the Democratic primary, and it might be a decent recipe. Believe it or not, there are more than a few anti governmental overreach Democrats. A Reuters poll said 22% of Democrats identify themselves as libertarian, creating a solid base for the insurgent challenger.

He said Biden has rigged the system, and that the president has declared war on the middle class. RFJ Jr. has tweeted about the Dems attempted control of communities of color through the covid panic.

RFK Jr. leads a group called The Children’s Health Defense, whose primary purpose is to safeguard kids from vaccine requirements at a young age. They got kicked off of instagram for purported “misinformation”, even though the site never released a statement as to what was tangibly infactual.

He hasn’t minced words when its come to the vaccine, becoming the most credible progressive voice against it saying, “The minute they hand you that vaccine passport, every right that you have is transformed into a privilege contingent upon your obedience to arbitrary government dictates. It will make you a slave.”

His other policies should be enticing to libertarian Dems as well. He’s opposed to the heightened power of the National Security Administration and the surveillance abilities they have.

And with that, he’s been one of the strongest prominent supporters of freeing Julian Assange:

His official announcement will come in about two weeks from now at a rally in Boston. You may see a familiar face there. His wife is Cheryl Hines, famous for playing Larry David’s wife on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

To say he’ll be a sinking ship would be premature. A new poll had Biden challenger Marianne Williamson at 10%. Not much, but she’s seen consistent growth and anyone in double digits is someone to be taken seriously. As she gains momentum, expect Kennedy to as well.
