Walmart has removed a seemingly innocuous pro-recycling shirt after four vertical-aligning letters inadvertently formed a rude word. The accidentally controversial clothing garnered lots of humorous attention after a Tweet gained over 2.5 million views.

Posts in jest are being shared online, along with a pic of the garment in question. While many are finding amusement in the unintentional mishap, others have expressed offense which led to an abrupt yanking of the shirt from Walmart shelves.

At first sight, the shirt appears to be rather inconspicuous. Just a typical crunchy recycling slogan with “RE” in capital letters, followed by suffixes “cycle,” “use,” “new,” and “think.” The problem at hand lies in the vertical inspection of a surprise “c—t” formed by the first letters of the four words.

Created by the Walmart-owned George clothing brand, the accidentally profane garment was on sale for $5 in Canadian outlets. Walmart nixed the shirt from shelves promptly following the viral attention.

If you’re like thousands of others interested in purchasing the eco-conscious couture, you can find it on Amazon and other online stores for around $20.
