The Guest Speakers at the Vault 2022
The Vault will be having a few notable guest speakers with impressive backgrounds as well as a special performance by Chazz Palminteri and Frederic Da Silva.
Chazz Palminteri
“A Bronx Tale”
Calogero Lorenzo “Chazz” Palminteri is an American actor. In 1988 he wrote “A Bronx Tale,” a powerful one-man stage commentary in which he depicted his bruising childhood in great detail, which included witnessing gangland slayings.
Chazz was born Calogero Lorenzo Palminteri in 1952 in the Bronx, New York, the son of Rose, a homemaker, and Lorenzo Palminteri, a bus driver. He grew up in a tough area of the Bronx, giving him the life lessons that would later prove very useful to his career.
He appeared off-Broadway in the early 1980s while paying his dues as a bouncer and doorman in nightclubs, among other jobs. In 1986 he headed west and found that his ethnic qualifications was well-suited for getting tough-talker parts. Slick attorneys, unflinching hoods and hard-nosed cops were all part of his ethnic streetwise persona in such TV shows as Wiseguy (1987), Matlock (1986) and Hill Street Blues (1981). In films he started off playing a 1930s-style gangster in Sylvester Stallone’s Oscar (1991). Although his roles were sharp, well-acted and with a distinct edge to them, there was nothing in them to show that he was capable of stronger leading parts.
Robert DeNiro became his mentor, supporting him throughout his career’s journey, and the rest is history.
Kevin Connolly
“Entourage”
Kevin Connolly is an American actor and director best known for his role as Eric Murphy in the HBO series Entourage, and his role as the eldest son Ryan Malloy in the 1990s television sitcom Unhappily Ever After.
Hailing from New York, his career is one to emulate. With over 40 acting credits and 11 director credits, Kevin has tackled Hollywood from the inside out. Connolly is most well known as Eric “E,” in the hit HBO show Entourage. Kevin is currently in a new chapter of life, with a beautiful baby girl, and back on the silver screen with “Ramble On.”
In addition to television work, Connolly has appeared in several major motion pictures including Antwone Fisher, Secretariat, John Q., The Notebook and He’s Just Not That Into You.
Robert Kiyosaki
“Rich Dad, Poor Dad”
As of July 2022, Robert Kiyosaki has a net worth of $100 million.
Robert Kiyosaki is an American businessman and author. His most famous work is the book, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” which ever since the time of its release, scaled to become the number one personal finance book of all time.
He has penned more than 25 books, which have sold more than 42 million copies globally. He even co-wrote a few books with former President Donald Trump including, “Why We Want You to be Rich: Two Men, One Message.”
Kiyosaki is the founder of Rich Global LLC and the Rich Dad Company, a private financial education company that provides personal finance and business education to people through books and videos. He has audaciously said to have commented that the reason why most people today are struggling financially is that despite years of formal education and training, they do not know anything about money.
The world-renowned author has been very vocal about our nation’s current and future economic state while reminding people that crashes are a great opportunity to get rich.
Andrew Fastow
Fastow was the Chief Financial Officer of Enron Corp. from 1998 – 2001.
Fastow was among the key figures on the other side of the complicated web of off-balance-sheet special purpose entities used to hide their huge losses. Deregulation in the US energy markets in the late 1990s provided Enron with commerce opportunities, including purchasing energy from low-cost companies and selling it at marketplaces with floating costs. This essentially enabled Enron’s audited balance sheet to seem debt free, while in reality, it owed more than 30 billion dollars in the peak of its own debt.
In 2004, he pled guilty to two counts of securities fraud and was sentenced to 6 years in federal prison.
Mr. Fastow currently consults with directors, attorneys, and hedge funds on how to best identify potentially critical finance, accounting, compensation, and cultural issues. He is also a principal of KeenCorp, an artificial intelligence software company.
Frederic Da Silva
Mind Reading Magic
Frederic Da Silva developed his skills of being a mentalist while growing up in France. At an early age Da Silva carried around a suitcase with props and illusions to perform in front of friends, birthday parties and other small engagements. Da Silva continued to practice his trade which is a mixture of magic, memory, hypnosis and psychology. Da Silva worked at his craft until he was awarded the Nostradamus d’ Oro as the best mentalist in Europe.
In 2011 he won the FISM Championship of Magic in Europe and Da Silva received his biggest break that same year when he was showcased on France’s Got Talent. Over the years Da Silva has been creative in his artistry and has been appearing regularly in Las Vegas since signing a contract in 2013.
Voted Best Mentalist in Europe, Frederic has the ability to predict what you’ve got in your pocket, stop a watch at the time you visualize, or even figure out the name of the person you are thinking about. How does he do it? You’ll have to join us to find out.
Behind the word “mentalist” lurk notions of magic, divination, suggestion and the paranormal, but what’s his secret? Is it all an illusion? Is it real? Does he have special powers? You will probably never know. The only thing you’ll be sure of after seeing the show is that you will never forget Frederic Da Silva.
