Nigel Farage, the UK politician known for leading the Brexit referendum, has announced his return to politics as the leader of the Reform Party with the intention to unseat the Tories and their Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, characterizing the conservatives as hypocrites on the issue of mass migration. In a social media post with the caption, “Good morning @RishiSunak,” Farage is seen riding in a car singing along to Eminem’s song “Without Me.”

Farage has declared he is the “leader of the opposition,” casting his Reform UK Party as an authentic right-leaning party against the Tories. He believes his party can win over six million votes and defeat the conservatives.

“We are well ahead of the Conservatives in the north-east, the north-west, Yorkshire and the Humber, East Midlands, West Midlands and parts of the eastern region. In what we call the “red wall” seats, we are significantly ahead of the Conservatives,” the former UKIP leader said. He also announced on June 13th that the Reform Party had officially surpassed the Tories in the polls.

Farage had announced his return in a simple X post on June 3rd reading: “I’m back.” In a statement made today, June 14th, Farage made his feelings on the Conservative party clear: “The Tories are done. The brand is broken.” And in a post yesterday, he said, “A vote for the Conservatives is now a vote for Labour.” His party also took out the front page panel of The Sun with a picture of Sunak edited onto a light bulb with the headline: “Will the last person to leave the Tories please turn out the lights.”

Farage has already begun debating UK political leaders, especially on the issue of immigration. “Rishi Sunak doesn’t want you to share this clip. It would be a shame if you did,” he wrote on a clip criticizing Tories for their hypocrisy on immigration.

“If you come to University in Britain, you can’t just bring your Mum with you,” he said in rebuke the notion of chain migration plugging tax revenue holes.
