Men live a harder life than women. And I’ve got the data to show you! Brace for impact! Let’s look at what women look for in men in a short-term relationship vs. when they’re looking in a long-term relationship. You, as a man, get to make a decision for yourself on how to increase your market value.

According to Tinder:

  • 52% of men swipe right most of the time (showing interest)
  • 47% of men swipe left most of the time (showing disinterest)
  • 5% of women swipe right most of the time
  • 95% of women swipe left most of the time

When it comes to short-term and long-term value, we found this chart where men can rate their attractiveness according to women. In the chart, you see:

  • A massive advantage for women compared to men
  • If you are in the top 20% of male attractiveness, you have 20% of the female population that you can compete for
  • For women, if you are in 20% of attractiveness percentile, you still have access to 80% of men that would be interested in you

You may be asking, “Isn’t this supposed to be Motivation Monday!? There’s nothing motivational about this.” I totally get it. So what are women looking for short-term vs long-term? Let’s look at the data.

6 different criteria within the decision-making process for a short-term relationship:

  1. Physical appearance – 35
  2. Resources – 6%
  3. Your Game – 30%
  4. Personality – 9%
  5. Status – 13%
  6. Age – 7%

6 different criteria within the decision-making process for a long-term relationship:

  1. Physical appearance – 15%
  2. Resources – 27%
  3. Your Game – 7%
  4. Personality – 18%
  5. Status – 23%
  6. Age – 10%

You need to ask yourself? Who do I need to become? What language do I need to have? How do I need to present myself? How much capability, skillset – what do I need to do to increase my market value? 95% of people in sales don’t make it because they get discouraged – they don’t want to become the person they need to be to sell those products to the clientele in that market.

If you’re chasing these short-term women, remember that they’re only looking for physical appearance and game. They’re not really valuing personality, status and resources. You can go fix those things.

The topic we’re talking about here is that for some of you watching that are a little older and you’re frustrated about this, totally get it. But you made the choice. You can also change that.
