If one were to look up the definition of betrayal and cowardice, former Vice President Mike Pence’s face would be one of the first faces you’d see, amongst many other politicians.

At the annual white- tie Gridiron Dinner on Saturday, Pence harshly criticized former President Donald Trump in front of top journalists and fellow politicians, addressing Trump’s role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

“President Trump was wrong,” Pence said. “I had no right to overturn the election. And his reckless words endangered my family and everyone at the Capitol that day, and I know history will hold Donald Trump accountable.”

Odd statements coming from the once loyal right-hand man to the billionaire mogul.

Regardless of whether Trump discussed this with Pence and put some pressure on him to overturn Biden’s alleged election victory, if he chose not to object, Trump also had every right to express his disappointment if there was no ACTUAL threat towards Pence’s safety and the safety of others.

Anyone who watched Trump’s speech live on that day is well aware that the former president strongly disagreed with Pence’s decision but called for PEACEFUL protests – a constitutional right and one moment in his speech that politicians and corporate media continuously fail to mention.

Pence continued with jokes about Trump’s ego and made claims that even some classified documents found at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home were book marked in his bible.

Rumors of Pence announcing a potential 2024 presidential run are circulating, and after witnessing this public low blow of insults towards Trump, we would not be surprised if Pence’s announcement made headlines in the upcoming weeks.
