Not only is Alica Schmidt an accomplished track athlete on the European circuit, but she was also named the “world’s sexiest athlete” ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
Only 24 years old, Schmidt has skyrocketed to an international phenomenon, combining her ability on the track with her remarkable looks—which has spawned a substantial following on Instagram that has stretched into several million.

Now she’s taking to social media, documenting her preparation for the late spring and summer track schedule.
“Season is about to start, let‘s have some fun,” she said on Instagram.

At the 2017 European Athletics U20 Championships, she was an integral part of the German team, leading them to a silver medal in the 4×400 relay. Schmidt and her teammates won a bronze medal at the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships.
The team would go on to take sixth place in the 2022 European Championships, and then failed to qualify at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon.
Schmidt has more than 3.7 million Instagram followers, and she was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 member this year.
