If you watched Patrick Bet-David’s recent podcast episode with guest, Roger Stone, Pat goes on a bit of a tangent expressing concerns about manufacturing moving from China to India, and the country’s fast-growing power flex moves over recent years.
Another major notch on the power belt is added after President Biden announced Tuesday morning that the purchase of over 200 American-made aircrafts through what he called a “historic agreement between Air India and Boeing.
In a nation with its middle class growing at an exponential rate, Air India has agreed to purchase 220 Boeing jets valued at $34 billion, with options for an additional 50 Boeing 737 MAX’s and 20 Boeing 787s, totaling 290 airplanes. The potential additions total the listing price to $45.9 billion.
President Biden further states that the purchase will support over one million American jobs and “reflects the strength of the U.S.-India economic partnership.” He continues, “Together with Prime Minister Modi, I look forward to deepening our partnership even further as we continue to confront shared global challenges—creating a more secure and prosperous future for all of our citizens.”
