The daughter of the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” has reportedly been rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive by her housekeeper in her Calabasas home.
54-year-old Lisa Marie Presley is suspected of having suffered cardiac arrest. TMZ reports Lisa’s ex-husband performed CPR on Presley while waiting on paramedics. The paramedics regained a pulse, but it is unclear what her condition is at this time.
The news comes as a sudden shock. Presley was recently seen days ago at the Golden Globe Awards to witness actor Austin Butler win a Globe for his portrayal of her father, Elvis Presley, in the biopic, “Elvis.” Heart problems seem to be genetic in the Presley family. Lisa Marie has outlived her father and grandmother, who both died from heart failure. Presley has recently spoken on hard times for the family after losing her son Benjamin Keough, who died from suicide in July 2020. Presley’s last post on Twitter was an essay she wrote for National Grief Awareness Day in honor of her late son.

After the reports of her rush to the hospital, Lisa Marie Presley was the top trending topic on Twitter. Many took to the social media platform, praying for her recovery. Others spoke of a conspiracy theory, saying they believed Presley suffering cardiac arrest was due to the Covid vaccine.
For now, we are waiting on news of her condition and hoping for recovery.
