Huma Abedin, former aide to Hillary Clinton and ex-wife of former Rep. Anthony Weiner, is now engaged to Alex Soros, the son of billionaire left-wing donor George Soros.
Abedin, 47, and Soros, 38, actually got engaged six weeks ago, and are now vacationing in Italy according to Page Six.
“The best way I can describe the relationship is effortless,” a friend of Abedin told the tabloid. “After a lot of tumultuous years for Huma, she’s relaxed and happy and in love,” they added.

As Valuetainment previously reported, Alex and Huma’s relationship was first noticed in February when they posted a picture of themselves dining out in Paris for Valentine’s Day. Abedin had confirmed this at the time in a message to Page Six.
In May, they attended the 2024 Met Gala together, and Abedin had been seen leaving his apartment in downtown Manhattan on Astor Place.
“It’s a classic Clinton World couple. Alex is the perfect match for Huma,” said a former senior Clinton aide. Abedin has been called a “second daughter” of Hillary in the past due to their close professional relationship. George Soros was famously one of Hillary’s top donor’s in 2016, having given her more than $9.5 million.
