A coalition of House Republicans has introduced legislation to defund the World Economic Forum (WEF), a pro-globalism conference group based in Davos, Switzerland. The shadowy group of elites has made numerous headlines this week for pushing to rescind various rights in the name of the common good, such as information censorship programs.
Led by Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), the coalition introduced a bill called “The Defund Davos Act,” which will block all spending on the non-governmental organization, including from the State Department and USAID. According to federal spending records, those two agencies in particular have given over $9 million to the WEF since 2013.
“Forcing American Taxpayers to fund annual ski trips for insular, global elitists is absurd – not to mention reprehensible,” Perry told The Daily Caller, which got an exclusive first look at the legislation. “The World Economic Forum doesn’t deserve one cent of American funding, and it’s past time we defund Davos.”

The bill was co-sponsored by Rep. Tom Tiffany (WI), who says the bill will “ensure that U.S. tax dollars are not funding the World Economic Forum and their reset on our way of life. I thank Congressman Perry for leading this important effort.”

“The wealthy WEF globalists should not receive Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars,” Tiffany added. Perry’s coalition included Reps. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Diana Harshbarger (R-TN), Andy Ogles (R-TN), and Matt Rosendale (R-MT).
The 54th annual meeting of the WEF occurred this week, attracting corporate sector, financial sector, nonprofit sector, and government figureheads the world over to discuss policies regarding climate, data, immigration, and other issues.
As Valuetainment reported, an environmental advocate went viral for calling on governments to introduce “ecocide” laws that would punish crimes against nature just as genocide is prosecuted. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called on global elites to collectively fight against “disinformation” this election year so that their climate and economic programs can continue without impediment.
While jet plane and Armani suit rentals were fully booked, apparently so were escort services in the sleepy ski town of Davos, according to another Valuetainment report. Finally, Argentinian President Javier Milei stole the show with a rousing speech excoriating the collectivism promoted by the WEF.
