Hollywood celebrities from your favorite movies, TV shows and music are taking matters into their own hands with an open letter demanding that Big Tech silence the voices of those who oppose ‘gender-affirming care’ for children.

Claiming opposing views to be “hate” directed at LGBTQ people online, the letter, published by The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) orders social media platforms Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Twitter to “take actions against the ride of anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ hate and discrimination.”

Celebrities including Ariana Grande, Haley Baldwin Bieber, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are among some of the 250 signatures standing behind the censorship.

These same elites are calling on the five platforms to silence “content that spreads malicious lies about medically necessary healthcare for trans youth,” accounts that “perpetuate anti-LGBTQ extremist hate and disinformation in violation of platform policies,” “anti-trans hate speech,” and more.

“This disinformation and hate, inadequately moderated on your platforms, plays an outsized role in the sharp increase in real-world anti-transgender targeting and violence,” it continues.

Meanwhile, a new poll from Summit Ministries and McLaughlin & Associates finds that 61 percent of U.S. voters believe introducing children to transgenderism, drag shows and LGBTQ+ themes stunts their emotional and psychological development.

Furthermore, another poll found that almost three quarters, (73%) want businesses to stay neutral when it comes to political and cultural issues, including LGBTQ+, with over half of them supporting the boycott of companies that aggressively market that agenda.
