Highly classified Pentagon documents have been leaked online in recent weeks, and what they reveal should be of high interest to any American.

According to CNN reports, 53 leaked documents have been reviewed, all of which have been produced between mid-February and early March.

One document reveals that the U.S. has been spying on Ukrainian President Zelensky. Although unsurprising, Ukrainian officials are apparently frustrated with the leak.

U.S. officials say some of the documents are authentic, exposing the extent of U.S. eavesdropping on key allies including South Korea and Ukraine.

The massive leak also reveals that U.S. penetration of Russia’s Defense Ministry, and the mercenary organization Wagner Group goes deeper than previously understood.

The Pentagon said on Sunday that an interagency task force is assessing the validity and impact of “sensitive and highly classified material” that was leaked on various social media sites this week.

“Over the weekend, U.S. officials have engaged with Allies and partners and have informed relevant congressional committees of jurisdiction about the disclosure,” Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said in a statement. “The Department of Defense’s highest priority is the defense of our nation and our national security.”

According to the New York Times, leaked materials contain intelligence on China, the Middle East, Israel’s spy agency Mossad, and Ukraine’s military support from the United States.

Regarding classified military documents released via social media pertaining to the war between Russia and Ukraine, analysts have claimed the documents were slightly doctored and leaning in Russia’s favor.

This is a developing story.
