Potential FOX News primetime lineup

“No decision has been made on a new primetime lineup and there are multiple scenarios under consideration,” Fox News said in a statement Wednesday.

Since Tucker’s leave in late April, the network has filled his former time slot with “Fox News Tonight,” an opinion show with a circulation of hosts including Lawrence Jones, Brian Kilmeade and Kayleigh McEnany.

According to The Drudge Report, Sean Hannity entering the 8 p.m. ET time slot switches Jesse Watters to the 7 p.m. ET slot and Greg Gutfeld into the primetime mix rather than his 11 p.m. ET programming, which has been a success with viewers.

Potential CNN primetime lineup

During a meeting with advertisers on Wednesday, executives from CNN announced their lineup plans ahead of the 2024 presidential race, including a promotion for Kaitlan Collins.

This promotion comes surprisingly after Collins’ CNN Trump town hall was criticized for not only allowing the former president to be on their media news platform, but for the questionable performance from Collins.

According to a report released on Wednesday from The New York Times, “CNN has selected Kaitlan Collins to host a new weeknight show at 9 p.m., elevating her to one of the most coveted time slots in cable news a week after she moderated a contentious town hall with former President Donald J. Trump.” The publication continued, “The new role for Ms. Collins was announced by CNN’s chairman, Chris Licht, on Wednesday, just ahead of a presentation to advertisers in Midtown Manhattan hosted by Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN’s parent company.”
