After being denied entrance to the US to compete in the Indian Wells Masters, Ron DeSantis took at jab Tuesday at Biden’s Covid-19 vaccination requirements for foreign travelers. The Florida Governor suggested that Djokovic could arrive to Miami by boat to compete in the Miami Open tennis tournament, referencing Biden’s 2021 declaration that unvaccinated non-US citizens may not travel to America by air. He asked Biden to reply to his request by Friday to verify if “this method of travel into Florida would be permissible.”

“The only thing keeping Novak Djokovic from participating in the Miami Open tennis tournament is President Biden’s misguided and unscientific COVID-19 vaccination requirement for foreigner travelers,” DeSantis tweeted Tuesday, along with a copy of his letter.

Is the White House’s vaccination requirement ‘misguided and unscientific’ as DeSantis claims? The answer is yes.

Despite the Biden administration’s promises, the covid vaccine was never tested to determine if it prevented infection or transmission, so Novak’s experimental jab status does not affect others. The clinical trials were only designed to explore its (supposed) efficacy in stopping symptomatic disease or illness, not infection or transmission.

Of course, the US’s covid vaccine entrance policy has Djokovic’s best interest in mind as the law will prevent him from succumbing to severe illness, right? While there have been few atypical anomalies reported that say otherwise, the ultra-fit athlete who eats well and (clearly) exercises will likely have no issues with the 99 percent-survivable virus.

Second and more important, Peter Doshi, editor of the prestigious British Medical Journal confirmed 3,410 participants were omitted from the Pfizer covid vaccine trials. Millions were wowed by the dramatic 95 percent efficacy results (for preventing severe illness) conducted by the pharmaceutical giant. They reported 170 PCR-confirmed covid-19 cases in their test group; eight of which were vaccinated and 162 had not been vaccinated. There was, however, a much larger category of disease labeled “suspected covid-19”—it accounted for participants with symptomatic covid who were not confirmed via PCR test. According to FDA’s report, there were 3,410 cases in this suspected group and 1,594 occurred in the vaccine group versus 1,816 in the placebo group. These participants were omitted from the final analysis despite the fact they would have greatly altered the statistics and findings.

The United States is now the only country requiring proof of Covid-19 vaccination on the ATP. While Biden’s office is poised to lift the regulation on May 11, the nonsensical and discriminatory rule could result in another withdrawal by the world’s number one tennis player.
