Tampa Bay Buccaneers former wide receiver is once again in trouble with the law. Thursday, Tampa, Florida police issued an arrest warrant for Antonio Brown on a domestic violence charge.

According to ESPN, a woman accuses Brown of throwing a shoe and hitting her in the head before attempting to throw her out of his home. A police report shows the incident happened on Nov. 28th. Reports also say Tampa Police waited outside Brown’s home on Thursday, demanding him to come out. This is not Brown’s first time in trouble with the law. In one incident in 2020, he was arrested after assaulting a moving truck driver in Broward County, Florida. Last month, he was ordered to pay the truck driver $1.2 million after pleading no contest. He also received two years probation which was terminated early.

Brown is known for several bizarre antics on and off the field. What could be considered the most infamous antic was when he suddenly jogged off the field earlier this year during a game against the New York Jets. He threw his shirt and gloves into the stands later, saying that was his way of quitting.

Brown recently visited the Vault and discussed this incident, among other things, in an explosive episode of the PBD podcast. He claims his decision to walk away from the game was a way of protecting himself from a progressive brain condition known as CTE. In recent years the disease has been linked to contact sports such as football.

These days, Brown has focused more on his music career and other projects. He has not expressed interest in returning to the NFL as a player since walking off the field.
