The CIA has launched a new initiative to recruit informants in China, Iran, and North Korea, building on its previous successes in Russia. This recruitment campaign utilizes various social media platforms to post instructions in Mandarin, Farsi, and Korean on how to contact the agency securely.

The CIA emphasized that the safety and well-being of potential informants is a priority and encouraged the use of encrypted Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and the TOR network.
