The 14-year-old boy who was stabbed did not survive the attack in Harlem, NY.
The Teenage Boys Knew Each Other
Police believe the teenage boy got into an altercation with someone he knew on the street and their dispute continued inside the 137th Street–City College station.
‘We do not believe this is a random attack. It is believed that the individuals involved were known to each other,’ said the NYPD.
The deceased teen was discovered alive, with a stab wound in his abdominal area on the northbound 1 train platform inside the 137th Street–City College station in Hamilton Heights, Manhattan, around 3 p.m., NYPD officials said.
Hamilton Heights is located in Harlem, NY, and borders Washington Heights.
One witness described the tragic interaction he had with the victim right before he died.
“His lips were purple and his eyes were rolled back, and he was bleeding a lot of blood,” the witness mentioned, adding that he saw a group of teenage girls run out of the subway station. “They wanted to take his phone.”
The NYPD recovered a knife and a broomstick at the site of the murder scene.
The NYPD was able to locate the suspect within hours, due to the high-def security footage captured by the MTA.
The victim initially pushed the other boy on the tracks, sources said. He was then stabbed and tried to run but collapsed on the subway station’s steps, according to police sources.
The killer is an unidentified 15-year-old and has been arrested on weapon and murder charges, according to the NYPD as of Sunday evening.
The murderer has not been publicly identified by the NYPD due to the fact that he is a minor.
The killer is currently being treated for stab wounds at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
The victim was identified as Ethan Reyes of North Yonkers and was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital.
“At the time, he was bleeding from his back and abdomen and brought to an area hospital to be treated for wounds to his left hip area. The cause of those wounds and his role in this incident remain part of an ongoing investigation,” NYPD Transit Chief Jason Wilcox stated at a press conference on Saturday night.
The boy was pronounced dead shortly later being taken to the hospital.
“We thank NYPD detectives, with whom we cooperated, for the rapid arrest of a suspect,” NYC Transit President Richard Davey said in a statement. “That he and the victim are said to have known each other further underscores the senseless nature of this tragic incident.”

New York Has Become Very Unsafe
Less than 2 weeks ago, a 20-year-old mother was shot dead by her ex-boyfriend while taking her baby for a walk in Manhattan’s prominent Upper East Side.
The infant was not killed, but the murder shook residents throughout the city.
Many have left New York due to high crime, restrictive and discriminatory mandates, and the tyrannical leadership that seems to only be getting worse.

Democrat cities are soaring with crime, economic distress, and low morale amongst residents.
This has been an ongoing trend for years, but the Covid pandemic surely exacerbated it all… Many residents ended up leaving their homes, families, and life-long careers for Conservative-run states and cities such as Florida, Texas, and Tennessee.
New York lost a heaping $19.5 billion due to the population exodus, according to the IRS.
Republican-led regions became known as “free” states due to the lack of mandates and laws discriminating against those who elected to not be vaccinated.
What a time to be alive… The fact that the topic of “FREE” vs “NOT FREE” states is even relevant makes you realize what a low point we are at in American history…
