Recent videos have emerged showing armed members of Venezuelan street gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) inside The Edge at Lowry apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado, sparking outrage among residents and online. The gang, linked to over 100 crimes nationwide, has reportedly taken over the complex, leading to serious safety concerns among tenants, including incidents of violence and drug dealing.

Aurora City Council member Danielle Jurinsky highlighted the lack of police response, claiming that residents feel abandoned and that sex trafficking may be occurring as a result of the gang’s influence.
Prominent Republicans have attributed the situation to the Biden administration’s immigration policies, criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris as the ‘border czar.’ Affected residents have expressed frustration over their inability to secure help from local authorities, resorting to moving out with assistance from Jurinsky.

Meanwhile, Aurora Police maintain that reports of TdA’s influence are isolated, despite the alarming evidence presented by residents.
