Philip Morris International, the maker of the popular Zyn nicotine pouch, announced plans to build a new $600 million facility in Colorado on Wednesday. Since early 2024, US customers have seen a shortage of the product. Speaking about the shortage, a Philip Morris spokesperson said there was a “short-term inventory constraint” driven by demand. The new facility will bolster the production of the product to meet the surge in demand in recent years.
