In the three days after former President Donald Trump was arrested in Fulton County, Georgia, his campaign brought in more than $7 million, much of it from merchandise brandishing his mugshot.

This was confirmed by Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung, who shared other campaign fundraising stats: Trump’s campaign raised nearly $20 million in the three weeks since he was first indicted with charges for the Georgia case and the Capitol riot. Cheung also announced that the day after his arrest—Friday, Aug. 24—was the highest grossing day for the 2024 campaign so far, raking in $4.18 million.

The mugshot merch includes t-shirts, coffee mugs, beer koozies, and car stickers. Trump’s campaign has also been engaged in fundraising efforts in light of the arrest.

One of the items, an 18″ by 24″ poster, features the mugshot with the words “NEVER SURRENDER” written over it, a reference to the former President’s first post on X since the Capitol riot.

Trump was released on bail with charges for plotting to overturn the state’s results for the 2020 presidential election. Trump denies all charges against him and says the indictments are politically motivated.
