In today’s Monday Motivation video by Patrick Bet-David, he reveals a customer service representative, worth over a billion dollars. His name is Elon Musk.

While most CEO’s will delegate their customer interaction to other employees within the business, Elon musk is built different.

Elon, goes against the grain, as he takes direct input from customers, surpassing middle men. Elon’s style is unique which is probably why he is the richest person in the world.

While the majority of CEO’s are saying to Elon “don’t talk to customers” he ignores the mainstream and does what his gut tells him. Gut feelings are usually an indicator of intuition.

Elon responds to people who tweet him, runs polls asking for a consensus and gives users an inside look, while keeping them updated. This is a high level of communication.

Communicating at a high level is crucial for every relationship in our lives, including speaking to a customer base.

Pat stresses that in order to be successful you must focus on your customers:

“The name of the game to make it to the top of your field no matter what business you’re in is customer service…”
