On Wednesday, Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin ordered warships and a nuclear submarine to enter the Havana Harbor, just 90 miles from the US. This is part of Russia’s wider show of force as it confronts the West over Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Admiral Gorshkov frigate and the Kazan nuclear submarine conducted a practice exercise on handling a missile strike from adversarial ships.

The officials said the routines featured a computer simulated attack on sea targets more than 370 miles away.
The Admiral Gorshkov is allegedly equipped with new Zircon hypersonic missiles, which Putin says can breach any anti-missile defense system in the world, flying nine times faster than the speed of sound and reaching a range of over 620 miles.
